Joinery-made doors and windows carry an unmistakable air of quality and solidity. They elevate an otherwise unremarkable interior to a space that sparkles with a life of its own. This addition can add significantly to the value of your home, not to mention enhancing your day-to-day enjoyment of living there.

Oak and Ash, the traditional choices for interiors are now often substituted by equally attractive and versatile tropical hardwoods such as Iroko (popular for thresholds) and the lighter Idigbo. Once these woods have been stained or oiled, you would be hard-pressed to differentiate their appearance from Oak but you will certainly notice the difference in price. In addition to being considerably cheaper, Idigbo has the advantage of superior warp resistance in comparison to native European hardwoods.
All doors and windows are made to measure and are patterned to customer requirements although we do have standard samples which can be used or adapted as required. All products are supplied hinged and either primed and undercoated if they are to be painted, or given two starter coats of oil if being left bare in order to prevent warping.
Doors and windows are supplied glazed where applicable and fitted with locks if required. All door and window furniture is supplied by you, the client, and fitted on site where any adaptations or adjustments can be made to existing architraves or framework as necessary.
